Thursday, May 29, 2008 from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM (PT)
The Forum will feature internationally acclaimed author and speaker Paul Hannam.
Mr. Hannam will be speaking about the potentially life-changing impact the new green economy will have on people and businesses worldwide in his presentation titled: “A Bright Green Future: Why Investing in the Green Economy Makes Sense for Your Business, Your Family, and Your Community.”
Mr. Hannam is an accomplished author, entrepreneur and
leader in environmental business internationally, including Chairman of
the Board for Greenest Host, the premier provider of green web hosting,
web
development, and web marketing services to green and ethical
businesses.
Mr. Hannam also serves as co-founder and Chairman at Bright Green Talent, a
venture with the mission to recruit the brightest and the best talent
in the world to work for organizations that are committed to
sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Previously, he
founded a computer recruitment and executive search business in England
that topped $50 million in annual revenue. Between 2001 and 2005 he was
an Associate Fellow at the Oxford University Environmental Change
Institute.
“There are lots of synergies between Bright Green Talent and
Greenest Host. It is funny how life works. Over seven years ago, I came
to the United States to find a growing Internet company in whom I could
invest and it changed my life completely. I didn’t find that company,
but, instead, I ended up joining the green movement. Now, seven years
later, I returned to find a thriving green venture in which to invest
and I ended up joining an Internet company. Greenest Host is definitely
best positioned to provide full service web and marketing outsourcing
for green businesses,” said Mr. Hannam.
Ten per cent of all ticket sales will be donated to the San Diego chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. To RSVP/reserve tickets and/ or sponsor the event, please contact the San Diego chapter of the Eco Investment Club at 619.269.4440.
